2025 Ticket How-To

Did you know that DevFestWI takes place during Forward Fest, Wisconsin's largest tech & entrepreneurship festival?

This is amazing, but can cause some confusion when it comes to purchasing tickets. Adding to the confusion, Forward Fest uses a site called Sched to facilitate scheduling and purchasing tickets. DevFestWI tickets are only available for purchase from the Forward Fest Sched site.

If you want to attend DevFestWI, you have two options: You can purchase a standalone ticket to DevFestWI, or you can purchase a ticket for the full Forward Fest.

Step 1: Sign up for an account on the Sched site.

Step 2: Fill in your information, or complete sign-up via Google or Microsoft.

Step 3: Scroll to the correct ticket option

If you only want to attend DevFest WI, scroll down and choose one of the "Single Premium Event Ticket - DevFest WI" choices. We have several options:

• Standard: $75 until July 31st, after which the price increases slightly

• Professionals Looking for Work: This is a discounted ticket tier intended for folks in-between full-time work

• Student: This is for anyone currently attending school, including UW, Madison College, or a bootcamp

Or, if interested, you can choose one of the all-inclusive Forward Fest options, which gets you access to a wide variety of other Forward Fest events.

Step 4: Checkout

Once you’ve selected your ticket type, simply proceed through checkout to complete your purchase.

If you’ve chosen a single event ticket, you are all done! If you do choose to purchase an all-inclusive Forward Fest option, be sure to add DevFest WI to your schedule in Sched, as this helps us with capacity planning.
